The Escape Zone is a fully equipped fitness and leisure complex which includes a gymnasium, luxury pool, steam room, sauna, solarium, spa, sun bed and sun shower. All members and guests can enjoy unlimited use of all facilities all day, every day and our location means that if you're in need of a little refreshment after your swim or work out you won't have to go far.
Set in the front grounds of Sporting Lodge Inns, The Balloon & Basket has a large patio, which is ideal for socialising with friends, family or colleagues during those warm summer months. Entertainment-wise, the Balloon & Basket provides something for everyone: there are weekly quiz nights, live music and family fun days, as well as a host of special events throughout the year. Conference and wedding facilities are also available at the hotel.

Our American-style Food & Alehouse is the ideal place to watch live coverage of all your favourite sporting events on one of our 30 television sets or 3 large screens. In addition, the previous day's world sporting highlights can be watched via our exclusive video playback system. So whether you wish to sample our delicious food or simply have a drink amongst friends or colleagues, the Food & Alehouse is where you'll be assured of a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.
The traditional Balloon & Basket pub opens its doors all day, every day. From 12 noon until 8pm, you can feast on a wide variety of mouth watering snacks and main meals ranging from home-made steak and kidney pie through to our fresh-from-the-oven lasagne. Alternatively you can simply sit back and enjoy a drink from our excellent selection of fine wines and beers.
Sporting Lodge Inns is ideally situated 10 minutes from the M62 motorway, 5 minutes from Bradford City Centre, 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre and just 3 miles (5 km aprox.) from Leeds/Bradford Airport.
M62 Leeds (M60) J26 M606 Bradford, continue to end of road. At roundabout take A6177 Keighley/Valley Parade. At first roundabout straight over towards Keighley. At second roundabout turn left towards Keighley/Valley Parade. At third roundabout straight over towards Keighley/ Valley Parade. At fourth roundabout straight over towards Keighley. Get in lane for Keighley.
Continue straight through traffic lights. Stay in Keighley lane - follow A650. Then get in right hand lane at the traffic lights and take a right sign posted Eccleshill & Idle. Follow road for one and a half miles (2.4 km). At lights turn left. Follow road for one and a half miles (2.4 km). At Five Lane Ends roundabout take third exit left onto Highfield Road (Lane Ends pub on the right).
Sporting Lodge Inn is 100 yards on the left hand side.
